There are several practical tactics available to keep age-based erectile dysfunction at bay. These are simple to incorporate into your daily life. 

Some of the best ways to deal with age-related erectile dysfunction are also practical ways to keep erectile dysfunction at bay:

  • Eat well: Those eating a well-rounded diet, complete with ample fruits and leafy greens, are better protected against erectile dysfunction.
  • Work out regularly: Adults should get around 150 minutes of moderate-intensity activity a week to keep their bodies in optimal condition. 
  • Lose weight: Obesity puts someone at a much higher risk for ED. Those at an unhealthy weight should try to cut down.
  • Stop smoking: Smoking can only have an ill impact on the body, and that includes creating erectile dysfunction in the body. If you smoke, stop as soon as possible. 
  • Limit alcohol: Limiting alcohol to every once in a while or cutting it out altogether is ideal for the body in preventing erectile dysfunction.  
  • Manage underlying conditions: If you have underlying conditions such as diabetes, manage them well.
  • Sleep better: Ideally, full-grown adults will get at least seven hours of sleep a night.
