Today we are going to talk about dating! So, if you’re new to the field or a seasoned pro, we’ve got a few tips for you!
We know it can be a zoo out there. There are so many websites like Bumble, Hinge, eharmony, or ourtime if you’re a bit older or grindr for LGBTQ. But in some cases, you’ll find a match, but your date is a disaster. Or it goes incredibly well but you don’t get a call back. It can be so fucking HARD!
Damn right it’s hard, but first you must be yourself. It is so important to represent yourself as you are. If you start off as a fake person you are eventually going to break. Learn to love who you are and shine bright like a diamond baby!
This can be a hard one, but it’s so important. Make sure to Communicate your needs up front and don’t get attached to people you barely know. If you see red flags or your date is not on the same page as you on important subjects, run!
Make your dates fun! DO an activity like bowling, golf, hiking, or grab a coffee. You don’t want to get intoxicated to the point where you cannot understand each other either, this may lead to bad decisions. Playing nice on the first date will allow you both to be playful while still getting to know one another. You will have a more meaningful experience as well.
Listen up! If they are not that into you, stop putting in the effort and move on! Don’t waste your time with someone who is not putting in the time for you. Don’t call more than twice, don’t text more than once. Ween out all the bullshit, as you don’t have time for those silly games.
So, if you are looking for a relationship, sign up for at least one or maybe two online dating options. Consider asking friends and family to set you up as well, and be social; go out often, and don’t be afraid to chat it up.
