Your first date went great–now what? The good news is, you have a second date, but what should you plan? Here are some fun second date ideas to ensure you have fun while still getting to know each other!
1. Axe Throwing
Axe throwing is becoming more and more popular in cities across the United States. Whether or not you’ve been before, this can be a fun activity to keep you moving and keep the conversation flowing. Just make sure you book a slot in advance!
2. Have a Picnic
If you aren’t quite sure the two of you are ready for a fancy meal together, you can instead plan a picnic–it will give you more time to chat than just a coffee, but won’t be as much pressure as a meal in a restaurant.
3. Go to Mini-Golf
Mini-golf is becoming less popular, but if you live in an area with nice weather, it can be a nice second date activity. You could also plan to grab a coffee or ice cream afterwards if the date goes well!
4. Take a Pottery or Painting Class
Taking some sort of indoor art class can be a great way to connect with a potential partner–especially for those who live somewhere where it is too cold to be outside during the winter months!
5. Visit a Bookstore
For those who prefer less structure during a second date, we recommend visiting a bookstore. Here you can still grab a coffee, but then peruse the stacks and chat about your favorite books! You may even find that you have more in common than you originally thought.
6. Head to an Arcade
Oftentimes, individuals choose movies or shows for the second date, but this doesn’t provide a good forum for getting to know your potential partner more. We recommend checking out an arcade or something similar, which can still provide a visual and heart racing experience that allows you both the opportunity to chat as well!
